Key Stage 3


Years 8, 9 and 10 pupils follow a broad curriculum designed so that it can offer the breadth and flexibility to provide them with access to a range of learning pathways. A wide range of thinking skills and capabilities, including literacy and numeracy, are developed across the curriculum. Lessons are interactive, enjoyable and varied in delivery to ensure pupils experience teaching in their preferred learning style and are fully prepared for the rigours of Key Stage 4.

The following subjects are delivered in line with the Northern Ireland curriculum:

Information Technology Learning for Life and Work
Mathematics Music
Personal, Social & Health Education Physical Education
Religious Education Science
 Spanish* Technology

* All pupils will study at least one modern language
