School of Pharmacy @ Queen’s University Belfast- Parents Information Evening

10th Nov 2017

Queen’s School of Pharmacy invites students and parents/guardians to an event that we are holding specifically for students who are considering applying to the University for degree programs within the School of Pharmacy.

This event is targeted at pupils and the parents/guardians of pupils who are currently studying or likely to study A Level Chemistry or Biology and at least one other subject from Maths and Physics (or equivalent qualifications), in years 12, 13 and 14.

Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology represent exciting career options for students and the aim of this event is to showcase the diverse range of career opportunities available to graduates and to dispel some of the myths that exist about pursuing a career in these fields.

At this event you will have the opportunity to hear some of the reasons why your sons/daughters should consider doing a degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences or Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. You will hear from employers including representatives from industry, community and hospital pharmacy as well as current students or graduates of the courses and you will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the subjects and entry criteria.

If you are interested in attending this event please see Mrs McColgan for invitation letters.

Degree Programmes on offer:
